Our Theme: Listening to Jesus - a week in Mark's Gospel
This week we will be going through Mark story by story, noticing themes, reflecting on our lives. Steve has directed the Mark Centre since its inception in the summer of 2000. He continues to be amazed and inspired as he follows Jesus with Mark's gospel (and Luke, Matthew and John) before him. Steve has memorized and dramatized most of Mark's gospel over the years and would plan to do more of that again this summer at Barnabas.

Meet your speakers
Steve Klassen
Steve Klassen together with his wife Evy have given leadership to the MARK Centre from its inception. They believe that God speaks to people today in a variety of ways, and have written a collection of their stories in Your Ears Will Hear. They both love to guide people in listening experiences and facilitate short retreats. Steve is a trained Spiritual Director and meets with individuals for monthly sessions. He also speaks publicly, dramatizing stories from Mark that highlight God’s personal love for people. Steve and Evy have six children and a new daughter-in-law.
