Serve and Grow is your opportunity to partner with us on a volunteer work weekend.  The weekends take place every spring and fall and help keep Barnabas Landing groomed and beautiful.

Many of our volunteers come back year-after-year, so it is a chance to work alongside old friends and make new ones.  Meals are included (they will delight your taste buds) and the devotionals will challenge and encourage you spiritually.

It is a sweet time of fellowship and practical service.

The Serve and Grow work weekends are for adults only.

Serve and Grow Retreat

Harry Maekelburger May 19 - 22, 2017

For our devotionals this year, join railway enthusiast Harry Maekelburger as he travels back in time to look at some of the historic jobs for “working on the railroad.” We will have fun contrasting these to the unique tasks that will be done as we get ready for summer at Barnabas.

The main projects will include planting the summer flowers and the vegetable garden, cleaning buildings used only in the summer, pressure washing, repairs to summer equipment, grounds and construction site clean-up, the spring newsletter mailing, etc.
