This weekend is open to all adults—married or single. The focus of this retreat is to spend time seeking God’s presence through prayer and reflection.
Barnabas Landing is a quiet spot on Keats Island with inspiring views, comfortable rooms and enjoyable meals.
A typical weekend has four sessions with the guest speaker. There is free time on Saturday afternoon to enjoy a walk through the woods or soak in the hot tub.
This weekend will give you the chance to quiet your heart and renew your soul.
Sorry, we currently do not have any Other retreats available. Please check back soon.

FOCUS ON PRAYER
Walking Alongside Jesus in the Gospels
Many of the stories in the Gospels are familiar to us: the Prodigal Son, the Good Samaritan. We have learned what these stories mean and what they have to teach us. But have you ever wondered what it might have been like to live them? God has given us a wonderful gift of imagination and when we turn it toward Jesus in the Gospels, entering into these stories of Jesus’ life, we can often experience a new way of encountering Jesus in prayer.
Dan Heavenor has been offering spiritual direction and leading spiritual retreats for over 15 years. A former pastor, Dan now offers spiritual direction part time, as well as weekend retreats and courses on spirituality and prayer. His full time job is driving a bus for Translink. His passion and calling is to walk with others as they seek after God, ask their questions and live their journey with God in all its complexity and uniqueness. Dan is a Regent College grad and recently completed his Doctor of Ministry degree in the area of Imaginative Prayer and Ignatian Spirituality. Dan is married to Andrea and they have a son (and daughter-in-law) and three daughters.
Rooms are assigned for double occupancy. If space allows, there may be a couple of private rooms available for an additional $50.
Registrations for this retreat begin January 4, 2017.
