The Mother and Daughter retreat is a weekend of delight.

Travel to our beautiful island location, rest in our spacious rooms (each one is uniquely decorated) and enjoy healthy and delicious cuisine from the Barnabas kitchen.

Each retreat usually features four sessions with the guest speaker and Saturday afternoon is free for your leisure.  There will be time for crafts, a hike in the woods and some surprises along the way.

It’s a fun way to share faith and create memories.

This retreat is for mothers and their daughters (10 — 18 years old).

Mother and Daughter Retreat

Sarah MacIntosh Oct 20 - 22, 2017

In some ways, growing up is a bit like a ride on a teeter-totter with lots of ups and downs, bumps and falls, and less than smooth transitions, often consumed with an attitude of entitlement or plunged to the depths with overwhelming anxiety.  How can we find peace when the stuff of life is so jarring?  As we share this weekend together we will find fun, creative interactive ways to learn what God has to say about growing up well.  Come be part of the adventure!

Sarah and Anastasia MacIntosh know something about growing up together as mother and daughter – they’ve been at it for 23 years.  Sarah is the mother of 4 (Ana being her first born), is involved in ministry at Heritage Alliance Church in Abbotsford (where her husband is the pastor), speaks at conferences and retreats, and works in the Abbotsford Christian Secondary School library.  Ana has just completed her B.A. and B.Ed. at Trinity Western University, is starting a teaching position at a Middle School in the Abbotsford School District this coming Fall, and regularly serves in camping ministry, with a huge love for this particular age group.

Online registration now open.
