Position Duration: (12 week position)
Reports to the Waterfront Director
Requirements:
- Lifeguard certificate
- Pleasure Craft Operator’s License
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for life guarding all swimming activities
- Responsible for all maintenance and supervision of waterfront program equipment ie. canoes, sailboats
- Carry out “town trips” to Gibsons when required
- Assist in the development of conference programs and safety instruction for staff
- Assist in program execution, primarily in areas of waterfront
- Assist in maintenance and development projects on the property
- Contribute to and assist in the summer staff community life
Honorarium plus room and board
