MARRIAGE REFRESHMENT INTRODUCTION

Take time away from the daily distractions and routine to enjoy an exclusive island getaway, gourmet meals, tastefully appointed rooms, and warm first class service. With exceptional speakers, experience a non-pressured weekend away gathering practical skills and helpful tools that will strengthen and enrich your marriage. A typical weekend has five sessions with the guest speaker and free time Saturday afternoon which provides opportunity for couples to be together and to enjoy one another. Whether spending time walking in the woods, sitting in the hot tub, playing a game of pool, or learning new relationship skills the weekend will be a worthwhile, memorable time.

$420 Per Couple - Early Registration – must be received minimum of 60 days prior to the conference start date
$430 Per Couple - Regular Registration
$410 Per Couple - Group Rate – minimum of 3 couples (all couples must register individually on the same day in order to qualify for the group rate)

Fees for Marriage Refreshment include conference costs, six meals, two nights accommodation, transportation, and all taxes. Start time is 5:00 PM via charter boat from Sunset Marina, West Vancouver BC. Conference ends returning to Sunset Marina approximately 3:00 PM on Sunday.

Jeff and Marilyn bring thirty-six years of dynamic marital history to this conference.  They also bring thirty years of youth ministry - mobilizing communities to reach out to young people through Young Life.  They are currently encouraging marketplace and government leaders toward faith in Jesus Christ and in personal investment in the next generation of leaders.

They have counseled hundreds of couples throughout their ministry career.  Their honest and vulnerable style is refreshing and disarming.  They seek 'holy ah-has' as they help husbands and wives break through into a holistic marital intimacy (emotional, sexual, and spiritual), a private and personal connection with one another.   Marriage is a blending of two unique personalities, family heritages, past experiences, habits, and values which can make this journey of becoming ONE both a blessing and a challenge.  Get ready for highly interactive, humorous, energetic, and insightful sessions.  Get ready for greater intimacy in your marriage.

“The Story of Us: Navigating Our Marriage Relationship”

This retreat will provide an opportunity to reflect on the uniqueness of each marriage story in an effort to navigate and enhance that relationship in the years ahead.

Kent and Rhonda Egging have been married for 28 years and have raised two children. Those 28 years have provided plenty of opportunities for growth, conflict, clarity, misunderstanding, and lots of fun. The Eggings consider Portland, Oregon their home even though they have lived in Illinois , Minnesota, Alaska, and Washington. They currently live in Mount Vernon, Washington where Kent serves as the senior pastor of Bethany Covenant Church.
